Taking place 27 May - 10 June 1949, the Philadelphia Orchestra Concert took place at the Hall over the course of fifteen days. It was the first and only time the orchestra performed at the Hall, being conducted by Eugene Ormandy the songs performed 'God Save the King' (The National Anthem), 'The Star-Spangled Banner' 'Toccata and Fugue in D Minor', Bach, 'Symphony No.7 in A Major, Op.92', Beethoven and more.
