Artist and educator Samira Mian created the distinctive visual identity for our Associate Artist programme with Rushil Ranjan and Abi Sampa. What began via Instagram in 2024 has grown into an ongoing creative partnership.
Rooted in Islamic geometric design, Mian uses traditional tools to reinterpret historic patterns with a contemporary sensibility, highlighting their lasting elegance and relevance.
In 2024, she designed the Orchestral Qawwali Project score cover, inspired by the Hall’s architecture, and has since collaborated on album artwork and vinyl engravings with Abi and Rushil.
The Royal Albert Hall is proud to present InHERited LINES, Mian’s first solo exhibition, celebrating her approach to geometry, heritage, and design
