Taking place 21 June 1916, the Royal Albert Hall was crowded for the event with speeches from Mr. Asquith the Belgian Minister, who presided, and by M Standaert, member for Bruges in the Chamber of Representatives. There was also musical performances by violin soloist Eugene Ysaye, organ solos by Guy Weitz, pianoforte solos by Arthur de Greef and Louis Delune, and selections by King Albert's Band".
