Taking place 24 February 1969, Jimi Hendrix performed his well-known songs 'Foxy Lady', 'Purple Haze','Lover Man' and many more with supporting acts Van Der Graaf Generator and Fat Mattress.
"At the end [of the show] he [Jimi] said that he was sorry but he had to go and thanked everyone for coming once again and left the stage. The crowd then went absolutely be[r]serk and shouted for more for about 4-5 minutes."
